Katie is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with People First Services and has been working closely with individuals with autism & other developmental disabilities for 6 years in a pediatric clinic. Katie grew up in Charlottesville, Virginia and moved to Fairfax in 2015 to attend George Mason University. She got her bachelor's degree in Psychology in December of 2018, and then graduated with her master's in Special Education in December 2021 becoming a BCBA in September of 2022. She has been involved in working with kids with special needs for her entire life, as she has an older brother with autism & has been a volunteer with the Special Olympics for years. In her free time - she enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, and cuddling with her three cats!
