Lyn Cardona has extensive experience in the human services field with much of her career focused on Vocational Rehabilitation. Lyn started her career with the City of Virginia Beach where she worked in a Psychosocial work-based day program as a Behavior Specialist then progressed into a manager position as a Mental Health Clinician. Lyn has also worked for the Community Services Board as a Case Manager, the Department of Aging and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) as a Placement Counselor then as an Employment Specialist for many years in both the greater Washington DC area as well as the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. Lyn attended Old Dominion University where she earned her Psychology degree in the applied subfield of Industrial/Organizational Psychology with a minor in Human Resource Management. Lyn is also certified as a Work Incentive Practitioner/ Work Incentive Specialist Advocate (WISA/WIP-C).
