Taylor Sims

Career Counselor

Taylor Sims is a dedicated Job Coach with a background in childhood education, behavioral therapy, and youth development. With over four years of experience as an Educator and Registered Behavioral Technician, Taylor has worked closely with children in educational and therapeutic settings, fostering their cognitive, social, and emotional growth. 

Originally from Frederick, Maryland, Taylor relocated to Virginia to attend George Mason University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Integrative Studies with a concentration in Childhood Studies. Since then, she has made Virginia her home. Throughout her career, Taylor has developed and implemented dynamic lesson plans, provided tailored behavioral support, and contributed to impactful programs designed to empower children and families. Taylor is passionate about expanding her expertise in career development to create pathways for individuals to access meaningful and fulfilling career opportunities.
Outside of work, Taylor enjoys a variety of hobbies, including creating artwork, exploring the outdoors, spending time with pets, and practicing yoga.
